Interim Rector: The Rev. Beth Lind Foote
The Reverend Beth Lind Foote is All Saints’ new Interim Rector following the retirement of The Reverend Kenneth Schmidt in November, 2018.
Rev. Beth specializes in Interim Ministry, and likes to think of the Interim time as “a journey of exploration, transformation, and parish renewal.”
She has Interim training from the Interim Ministry Network and the Clergy Leadership Institute. Her most recent Interim position was with St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, Fremont.
She has also served as sabbatical priest at Trinity, Menlo Park, St. Luke’s, Walnut Creek, and St. Alban’s, Albany. She was Associate Rector and Family Ministries Director for seven years at Trinity, Menlo Park.
After leaving Trinity, Menlo Park in 2013, Beth embarked on the Camino de Santiago, a five-hundred mile pilgrimage across Northern Spain to visit the shrine of St. James in Santiago de Compostela. You can read her blog here
The Rev. Beth Foote was ordained to the priesthood at Grace Cathedral in 2008. She graduated from the Church Divinity School of the Pacific in 2006 with a Master of Divinity. She also holds a B.A. in Literature from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
