ANNUAL PARISH RETREAT

Friday evening, 7 September, to Sunday afternoon, 9 September at the Bishop’s Ranch in Healdsburg, California

  • We welcome as the retreat leader The Rev. Margaret Anne Trezevant, Deacon at the Church of the Redeemer in San Rafael, who served as the Deacon at All Saints’ from 2009-2013.
  • Jean McMaster, retreat coordinator, sent more information and registration materials over the summer. Please call the church office ASAP if you did not receive them.

 


CONVOCATION OF THE SAN FRANCISCO DEANERY

Saturday, 8 September, 9 a.m. – Noon at Trinity-St. Peter’s Church, 1668 Bush Street

Parish clergy and representatives are invited to attend the Fall convocation.

 

 


DIOCESE OF CALIFORNIA CLERGY RETREAT

Wednesday, 19 September, to Friday, 21 September

Parish clergy are invited to attend the annual clergy retreat at the Bishop’s Ranch in Healdsburg, California.

 


SPECIAL HOLY DAYS IN SEPTEMBER

 

  • Friday, 14 September: Holy Cross Day, Mass at 6 p.m.

 

  • Friday, 21 September: St. Matthew the Apostle and Evangelist, Mass at 6 p.m.

 

  • Sunday, 30 September: St. Michael and All Angels, Masses at 8 and 10 a.m.

 

 


COMING IN OCTOBER

 

THE FEAST OF SS. FRANCIS AND CLARE (transferred)

Sunday, 7 October

  • The kick-off of the Stewardship Appeal for 2019 at both the 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Masses. See the special materials prepared by Colby Roberts, our Stewardship Officer, and the Vestry for more information.
  • The annual Blessing of the Animals in honor of St Francis in the Parish Hall after both Masses. Please bring your pets, pictures of them, or your favorite stuffed animal to church and the blessing.
  • The first-Sunday-of-the-month Children’s Chapel reconvenes after summer break in the chapel room and Undercroft. The children will join their families in the church at the Peace for Holy Communion.

 


GROUNDWORK RETURNS: SAINTS GALORE!

Every Wednesday evening, 7 – 8:15 p.m.

  •  Be introduced to Francis of Assisi; Vida Dutton Scudder; Ignatius, Bishop and Martyr; and Alfred the Great.
  • If you can come to early: Mass at 6 p.m. in the church, followed by a Bag Supper in the Parlor.

 

 


169th CONVENTION OF THE DIOCESE OF CALIFORNIA AT GRACE CATHEDRAL

Friday, 19 October, and Saturday, 20 October

Parish representatives and clergy will attend the annual Convention of the Diocese of California. For more information about the convention visit http://www.diocal.org.

  • Neighborhood Brunch Program Every Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the Parish Hall, sponsored by the Haight Community Services Committee
  • Eldercare Ministry Sunday, 23 September, at 2 p.m. at the San Francisco Heath Care home (southeast corner of Baker and Grove Streets)
