GROUNDWORK PENTECOST SERIES:

“Practice Resurrection”

 Wednesday evenings throughout June

A study of the Gospel readings for the coming Sunday to discuss how we live the resurrection today. If you can come early: Mass at 6 p.m.; bag supper at 6:30 p.m.


DAY OF PENTECOST

Sunday, 4 June, regular schedule of Sunday Masses

  • With the renewal of Baptismal Vows and the reading of the Gospel in many languages at the 10 a.m. Mass in celebration of the outpouring of God’s spirit on all people. If you would like to read the Gospel in a language other than English at the 10 a.m. Mass, call the church office by Tuesday, 30 May
  • Children’s Chapel in the Undercroft during the 10 a.m. Mass, led by Mark Patterson.

 FIRST SUNDAY AFTER PENTECOST: TRINITY SUNDAY

Sunday, 11 June, regular schedule of Sunday services

  • Followed by Summer of Love booth in front of the church from Noon to 4 p.m. as part of the Haight Street Fair. With the distribution of All Saints’ bread and docent tours of the church.

PRIDE EVENSONG AT GRACE CATHEDRAL

Thursday, 15 June

The Diocese of California will host a Pride Evensong at Grace Cathedral, beginning at 5:15 p.m. Following the service, a panel including All Saints’ Rector Kenneth Schmidt, will discuss the history of ministry for LGBTQ people in the Diocese of California. At 7 p.m. there will be a reception in the dining room with memorabilia and photos.

 Sunday, 25 June, after the 10 a.m. Mass

ALL SAINTS SUMMER OF LOVE 50th ANNIVERSARY

11 June

  • Booth in front of the church during the Haight Street Fair will offer historical material until 4 p.m.
  • Docent-led tours of the church building.
  • All Saints’ / Diggers bread and bottled water.

11 June

All Saints’ Food Program Picnic

  • Picnic in the church garden to honor Haight Ashbury Community Services Coordinator and Food Program volunteers.

27 August

All Saints’ Opera Concert in the Parish Hall at 4 p.m.

  • Singers from the San Francisco Opera Chorus will present selections from the Opera’s Summer of Love program, and the Opera’s 1967 season.
