Dear Friends at All Saints’,

The Very Rev. Judith G. Dunlop, D.D., died at the age of 74 this past Sunday afternoon in her home in Redwood City after a long struggle with brain cancer. Judith was a Pastoral Associate At All Saints’ from 1991-2011, and served in many other positions in the Diocese of California including the Dean of the School for Deacons, the Vicar of St. Cyprian’s Church, and Interim Rector in several parishes on the Peninsula. We know her best as priest, pastor, teacher, colleague, and friend.

Judith will be interred in the columbarium in the Chapel of the Good Shepherd here at All Saints’ in a private family service. A public votive Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Grace Cathedral at a date and time yet to be determined.

We will honor Judith’s life and ministry at All Saints’ at the 10 a.m. Mass this coming Sunday, in the homily, and as a special intention at the Great Thanksgiving. A condolence card which will be sent to the family will be available for All Saints’ friends and parishioners to sign after Mass.

Please pray for the repose of Judith’s soul and for all who grieve, especially her children Kate and Andrew, her grandchildren Gabriella and Ben, her brother Nick, and all her colleagues and friends at All Saints’ and throughout the diocese.

Rest eternal grant to her, O Lord;

And let light perpetual shine upon her.

May her soul, and the souls of all the departed,

through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen

In loving memory of Judith,
