Lenten Series 2013

All Saints’ 2013 Lenten Series

AshCross2

“People of the Way”: Faith as a Way of Life

Wednesday evenings from 20 February to 20 March

7:15 – 8:30 p.m.

Parish clergy and seminarian will lead us in reflections inspired by themes in A Practical Christianity: Meditations for the Season of Lent by the Very Rev. Jane Shaw, Dean of Grace Cathedral.

  • Being Dust (20 February)
  • Letting Go (27 February)
  • Being Uncertain (6 March)
  • Seeing God (13 March)
  • Love (20 March)

Come to the whole series or to the evenings that interest you most.

If you can come early: Mass with Stations of the Cross at 6 p.m., bag supper at 6:45 p.m.

(This isn’t a study of Shaw’s book—you don’t need to read it to participate.)

Second Annual Lenten Nets for Life Appeal

The Episcopal Church encourages each congregation to give .07% of its operating budget for Nets for Life, supported by Episcopal Relief & Development as part of our commitment to the Millennium Development Goals.

At All Saints’ .we hope to provide 150 mosquito nets at $12 each to help eradicate malaria in Sub-Saharan Africa.  Last year we doubled our goal of 130 nets.  Let’s try to double our goal again this year!

Opportunities to donate a net will be available on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.  Thank you for your generosity.
